The 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT is back, and it carries a number worth noting: 777 horsepower from a 6.2-litre supercharged HEMI V8. For New Brunswick drivers who have been watching this truck’s return, pricing is now confirmed and order books are open.
This is not a refresh. The TRX is the first vehicle out of the relaunched SRT Performance division, and the first SRT Ram in nearly two decades. The last time Ram wore that badge was the 2006 SRT10.
What Is Confirmed Right Now
Pricing starts at $144,995 MSRP, plus a $2,995 destination charge. That figure covers the full standard build: 777 hp, 680 lb-ft of torque, Natura Plus leather with perforated suede inserts, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and every tech feature listed below. Nothing is stripped out to hit that number.
Ram confirms the TRX will arrive at certain Canadian dealerships this fall. There is no specific date to lock in yet, but order books are open now.

Power, Suspension, and Off-Road Capability

The 6.2-litre supercharged HEMI V8 feeds through a TorqueFlite 8HP95 eight-speed automatic and a full-time active transfer case. A dual-path induction system draws air through both the grille opening and the centre hood scoop, converging at a high-capacity radial filter designed for sustained high-output use.
SRT engineers raised horsepower by more than 10% over the 2024 generation and added 40 lb-ft of torque to reach 680 lb-ft. The result: 0-96 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h, with standard Launch Control to optimize the run.
Off-road hardware is equally serious. The second-generation Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks use dual Electronic Proportional Valves connected to nitrogen-charged remote reservoirs, adjusting compression and rebound independently for each wheel. Ram Active Terrain Dynamics works alongside the shocks to read surface conditions and even anticipate mid-air landings. The rear uses a Dana 60 axle with a rear electronic locking differential and a five-link coil system, allowing up to 356 mm of axle travel.
Standard 35-inch tires and 300 mm of ground clearance are paired with an independent front suspension with active performance damping.
Interior, Technology, and the Bloodshot Night Edition
Every TRX SRT comes fully equipped as standard. The interior centres on a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen running on the Atlantis electrical architecture, which responds to input in as little as 0.05 seconds. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a Head-Up Display with a 10-inch field of view round out the driver-facing screens.
Seating surfaces are Natura Plus leather with perforated suede inserts. Front seats offer 12-way power adjustment with memory, massage, heating, and ventilation. Rear seats are class-exclusive reclining, heated, and ventilated. Red contrast stitching runs across the hand-wrapped dashboard, door panels, and centre console. Real carbon-fibre trim, cast-metal floor shifter, and aluminum paddle shifters are standard.
The 900-watt Harman Kardon system delivers through 19 speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer. Class-exclusive dual wireless charging pads, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system are all included.
Hands-Free Active Drive Assist (L2+) is standard, making the TRX one of only two high-performance off-road gas pickups in the market to offer hands-free capability.
For buyers who want a more distinctive look, the Bloodshot Night Edition adds:
- A hand-painted Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat Blacktop upper with a Flame Red centre hood stripe
- Unique bodyside splash graphics running from the front door through the bedside
- Red-outline TRX interior badging and a glass-encased centre console badge
- Carbon fibre with red anodized thread in the weave
- Satin Black beadlock-capable wheels with Satin Titanium rings
The Bloodshot Night Edition is priced at $13,495 over base.
What Matters for New Brunswick Shoppers Right Now
The $144,995 starting price includes the full luxury and performance package; there is no stripped base to avoid. The Bloodshot Night Edition brings the total to $158,490 before destination, and that is the only meaningful pricing decision at this stage.
The TRX eclipses the next nearest competitor in the high-performance off-road pickup segment by 57 hp and 40 lb-ft of torque, and does so at a lower cost per horsepower than other premium full-size off-road trucks. If power output per dollar is part of your evaluation, the math favours the TRX.
The truck is sold as a single fully loaded configuration, so there is no risk of missing a feature by choosing a lower trim. What you order is what arrives.
